An aromatherapy candle manufacturer may pay designers hefty fees to create an appealing design for the packaging and shape of their candles.  Advertising costs to make sure that the general public knows about their products will also require a great deal of money as advertising costs have skyrocketed over the last few years.  These costs will be reflected in the price of the aromatherapy candle so that the manufacturer can earn a profit from their brands.

Retail Location

The store where the aromatherapy candle is purchased will affect the price of the candle as well.  Many upscale stores only carry the most expensive brands while common retailers will carry everything at the opposite end of the price range.  Many people prefer the candle brands that are moderately priced because they like the price and the quality.  The scent of the aromatherapy candle is the most important criteria for choosing and a person should be sure to choose scents that they like.

By choosing a price range and trying different scents, anyone should be able to choose an aromatherapy candle that they enjoy.  It does not matter how expensive the price of the aromatherapy candle is if the scent does not appeal to you.  If the candle is being chosen for a health issue or to bring balance to the body, it is important to choose one of the many varieties that will help with the issue while still providing a pleasant scent to relax or energize the person.
